This striker is made from Hardwood that I turned on a lathe.
The striker shaft is made from
5/16th hickory with a bone tip.
It's high pitched and raspy
These are good for use on glass  and  slate  calls.
With practice, you can make an aggressive hen purr sound, and really bring the hens in!
I am an avid turkey hunter and use these strikers myself,and recommend them.
