Vintage Kiri Ikebana Hibachi Container Gilt Maki-e Chrysanthemum by Toyo Japan

Japanese flower arranging in the mid-late last century do to its small size and evidence of
kenzan
use rather than as a heating brazier. It is unique and in very good condition considering its age and with few scratches to the wood inlay.  The copper inset is water tight with some evidence of use and neglect.  The hibachi measures 7.5" in diameter at its widest point with a .75" lip to a recessed drop of .5" to the copper inset, and stands 3.75" in height.  The copper inset has a diameter of 5.5" not including its .25" outer rim that rests in the hibachi and a 1.75" in  depth.  There is an opening at the bottom of 4" that  with a .50" wide ring to a recessed .125" where there is another ring .75" in width to the opening that exposes the copper insert which is securely affixed to the wooden
hibachi
.  The wood hibachi and the copper inset weigh together 12 ozs.   The
maki-e
scene depicts a single chrysanthemum with leaves and grass in lacquered gold and burnish red.  All pictures were taken in a camera tent.  The 2002 Japanese empty coke can is not for sale, but to illustrate the size of the container.  Will answer all questions promptly.
